My Daughter Passed Her Board Exam

I couldn't get myself to sleep no matter what I did. Hence, I decided to just cook breakfast for my son, James, who will go to school and has to be there for the flag ceremony before 6AM. I saw my daughter, Keith walked out of my room (Earlier, she threw me out of it so she can sleep there). She went to the kitchen where I am and walked behind me. Afterward, I saw her walked into her own room. Watching too many horror films for 5 days now and drinking too much coffee have affected me so much I guess. I easily get terrified at small crackles. After a few minutes came the big shock of my day. I saw Keith rushing out of my room (when she was supposed to be in her room) to tell me that she passed the board exam. At first, I thought she saw a ghost as she appeared so startled and that made me nearly panic. Earlier that day, my right palm was terribly itching. It's always been a good omen to me that a good amount of money or a good news is coming. A few weeks ago, when Keith told me that she will take the board exam, I would burn bay leaves for her and I would also perform Reiki on her photo everyday. They all paid off now. Congratulations to my daughter for a job well done!

Understanding the Manifestation of Incubus and Succubus

Attacks by an incubus or succubus (demonic entities that have sex with sleeping women/men), science says, are all in a person’s head. Another product of mind projection like tulpas. According to psychologists, incubus attacks occur when a person becomes partially conscious even though most of their brain is in the REM sleep stage. This leaves the dreamer to experience sleep paralysis as his/her mind weaves concrete images with dream images into an encounter that seems “real.” This state, called parasomnia, often involves sexual arousal, which can include an invisible rapist thought of as incubus or succubus. In some cases those people who desires sex too much but do not have a sexual partner may create thoughtforms that become their sexual attackers during sleep. Those who had experienced sexual traumas in the past like molestation, rape and others can also be haunted back by those memories through visits from an incubus or succubus.

We Feel Love in Our Brains not in Our Hearts

Since, it's already December 1, here's a friendly reminder for this season of love.

YOU CAN MAKE THE PERSON WHO LOVES YOU HAPPY JUST BY BEING THERE.

It's the brain that feels love, not the heart. The heart is the muscular organ that pumps blood and it pumps faster when we're in love. The relationship of the heart with love is just symbolic. Since the heart is our center. The person we love becomes the center of our attention, thoughts and feelings. Seeing or being near that person makes our heartbeat race and we feel elated because of adrenalin rush. Adrenaline rush can be quite addicting as we all know. Feeling down slows down our heartbeat. The term broken hearted refers to when we feel emotional pain in the same part of the brain that feels physical pain. It can deeply be depressing and can literally kill through heart attack/failure. Hence, be careful not to break anybody's heart. This is the very reason why I rapidly cancel out connection with people, including friends who I can sense will just break my heart. You want to live long? Stay out of the Broken Heart Zone.

CHILDREN, IF YOU WANT YOUR PARENTS TO LIVE LONG...SIMPLE...DO NOT BREAK THEIR HEARTS.

Why Some People Dream a Lot

Dreams can occur anytime during sleep. But most vivid dreams occur during deep, REM (rapid eye movement) sleep, when the brain is most active. Some experts say we dream at least four to six times per night.

Everyone dreams, and there are many types of dreams, some of which are not remembered after awakening. Dreams represent images and stories we create in our mind during sleep, and can be very vivid and make you feel afraid, sad, or happy. They may seem rational or be extremely confusing. You may ask: why do I dream so much? It may be that you have lots of REM sleep, which is the time when dreaming is most prevalent.

Scientists do not know why some people dream a lot and others do not. However, it is true that there are those who have dreams that last for a longer time during the night and are more vivid than others’. It could mean that there is a great emotional burden some people are experiencing so that they actually have nightmares. It is not considered dangerous to dream excessively or to have really vivid dreams.

You may be dreaming a lot because you have a lot to think about. According to Freud, dreams happen because we have inner conflicts that need working out in our subconscious. Other scientists believe that dreams are a way to organize or categorize our thoughts and memories. It is suspected that we have about four or more dreams per night but many people don’t remember them.

The San Agustin Museum

The San Agustin Museum is one of my favorite museums on Earth. It is well maintained and showcases the journey of the Augustinians in  the Philippinines as well as their influences. Here you'll find religious art treasures and artifacts that will point you to the history of Catholism in the country. Here is also where you'll find the ashes of our National Artist Juan Luna.

Hiding behind the beautiful structure, paintings, sculptures and art works are some horror stories only a few people know about.During the Spanish Occupation of the Philippines, Fray Vincent De Sepulveda was murdered here by his fellow friars who do not like his strict leadership. His murderers were hanged in the courtyard and were buried inside the former convent. During the World War 2.It was used as an internment camp by the Japanese Imperial Army where around 7000 residents of Intramuros were imprisoned and were killed before the end of the war. There is a grand spiral staircase inside the building where hundreds of women were raped and killed and their blood dripped and tainted the stairs then. These incidents were believed to contribute to the present haunting in the building.

They Said Misfortune Comes in 3s

The belief that misfortunes come in 3s is clearly a superstition and coincidence. People always look for special meanings. Most of the time, we connect the signs we encounter to the supernatural.

People are naturally attracted to number 3 because it symbolizes wholeness e.g. Family, Holy Trinity, 3 Kings, 3 Stooges, Top 3, Big 3.

3 is often considered as a magical number because it brings manifestation e.g. Count to 3

Good things and bad things happen all the time. We just fail to notice everything accurately.

Always focus on counting our blessings, and learn from every misfortune.

Mindset = Actions = Results
